This page explains how to request deletion of your Nadwa account and personal data, and summarizes the data Nadwa collects. It complements our Privacy Policy.

How to request account & data deletion

Because Nadwa uses a managed sign-in provider (Clerk) and does not yet offer an in-app “Delete account” button, deletion requests are handled by our team. To request deletion:

  1. Email meshal@alphaalgorithms.io from the email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the subject line “Nadwa data deletion request.”
  3. Tell us whether you want your entire account deleted, or only specific data (for example, a particular child/student profile you manage).

Email a deletion request

We verify that the request comes from the account owner, then delete the data. We aim to complete deletions within 30 days and will confirm by email when done.

What data is collected?Email & account ID, display name, city/ZIP & approximate location, gender, friend code, mosque membership & role, child/student profiles (name, DOB, gender, grade, progress, grades, attendance), community content, push tokens, payment IDs, and technical logs (IP, timestamps). Is data encrypted in transit?Yes.All app-to-server traffic uses HTTPS/TLS (Let’s Encrypt certificates). Traffic to Clerk, Stripe, and Expo is also encrypted over HTTPS.
Is data encrypted at rest?Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure) with restricted access; card data is isolated within Stripe’s PCI-compliant environment.
Is data sold or shared for ads?No. We do not sell personal data or use third-party advertising.
